NTA applications: choose the exact 2026 bulletin before editing files

JEE, NEET, CUET and other NTA examinations do not share one permanent upload checklist. Start with the exact exam portal, year and information bulletin.

Current position: NTA publishes separate notices, documents and correction rules for each examination. The notice archive and current .nic.in exam portal should be checked before relying on any generic image-size range.

Identify the exam and year

Begin at the current NTA examination portal, select the exact examination, then open its 2026 information bulletin. A search result for another NTA exam is not a valid source for file limits.

  • Match exam name, session and year.
  • Use the bulletin under the exam's Documents section.
  • Read any later correction or extension notice in the archive.

Build only the requested files

Many NTA forms request a photograph and signature, while some also request live capture, category evidence or a disability certificate. Requirements can differ substantially.

  • Do not assume every exam uses the same KB range.
  • Keep identity details consistent with the Class 10 record where the bulletin asks for it.
  • Check certificate validity for the current admission cycle.

Review before the correction window

Preview each upload and save the confirmation page. Correction windows can limit which fields are editable and may freeze changes after one submission.

  • Read the exam-specific correction notice.
  • Do not wait for the last day to validate camera and files.
  • Use NTA's official contact page for unresolved portal issues.
