Passport Seva: documents, photograph and appointment guide
Most PSK and POPSK applicants do not upload a passport photograph because it is captured at the centre. Start with the official service guide for your exact case.

Answer the service questions first
A universal passport document pack is unsafe. Choose fresh or reissue and complete the official guidance for the applicant's exact circumstances before scanning anything.

Photograph rules
At a PSK or POPSK, the applicant's photograph is normally captured during the appointment. Preparing a cosmetic passport-photo upload is therefore unnecessary for most applicants.
- A minor below four years should carry the prescribed recent printed photograph.
- Do not alter facial features or identity details.
- Follow a different rule only when the official route explicitly states it.
Carry originals and copies
Bring the originals required by the official checklist and one set of self-attested photocopies. The counter verifies the records against the application.
